The Shift Innovation Assessment

How does innovation actually work in your organization?

At the end you receive a named pattern, one of ten we keep seeing in public-sector innovation practice, the tensions characteristic of that pattern, and an honest fit-call: whether ShiftFlow is the right partner for the work you would want to do next, or whether the better help is somewhere else. Thirty-five questions across seven dimensions. About twelve minutes. After each dimension the instrument shows you its preliminary read and asks whether it feels right; your calibration response shapes the result.

Your answers are stored anonymously. We don’t collect your name or email unless you choose to share them at the end.

Built from a 45-source review of public-sector innovation literature, anchored in OECD/OPSI, Christian Bason, and Mariana Mazzucato. Seven dimensions. Ten patterns. The fit-call is built into the assessment by design: into the scoring logic, the recommendation branching, and the copy. Detailed methodology and citations are at /method.
